What is Offset Printing?
At Dimensional Graphics, we use offset printing on an every day basis. This technique is used when an image is transferred from a plate to a paper surface (for our specific case). We have both four-color and two-color presses. This means we can do large quantities at a time, even if they are a combination of the four basic print colors – cyan, magenta, yellow, and black – or just using two.
Often people mistakenly believe that a four-color press can only place four colors on at a time; however, this is not the case. The press itself can weave the four colors used in the printing process to make the images that clients want to see. At DG, we are proud to say that our ‘press guy’ has been in the business for over 20 years, and he knows the ins and outs of all our machines.
